Dato’ Haji is our Director, a Chartered Accountant, and a member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and The Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy (CIPFA).

He started his career in the Accountant General’s Office in Kuala Lumpur in 1982. He was actively involved in accounting and finance roles at various Government Agencies i.e. the Islamic Religion Department, Wilayah Persekutuan, Accountant General’s Department, Branch of Perlis, The Langkawi Development Authority (LADA), Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (IKIM), Economy Planning Unit (EPU) Prime Minister’s Department, State of Kedah Treasury Office and Ministry of Finance.

He was elected as and awarded the titles of Dato’ Setia Diraja Kedah in 2013, Setia Diraja Kedah in 2011, Ahli Mahkota Kedah in 2008, Ahli Yang Keempat (Bentara) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang in 2012, and Bintang Cemerlang Kedah in 2005.

He currently sits as a member of Board of Directors of Amanah Raya Berhad, Amanah Raya Investment Sdn. Bhd. and Amanah Raya Kenedix REIT Sdn. Bhd.
