FOUNDER’s MESSAGE Nov 2020

Dearest Stakeholders,

As the old cliché goes, how time flies! We are now nearing the end of 2020 and I am sure all will agree that indeed this has been an eventful year to say the least.

COVID-19 is in full bloom, with our government doing their upmost to manage the situation and keep the economic fallout to the minimum, whilst assisting those that are hit the hardest. These are uncertain times and during these times, I find that the “Kita Jaga Kita” slogan most apt.

Amidst all these, 3LYON has been steady. The Board of Directors, along with the Leadership team and our staff have been busy navigating the choppy waters and keeping the organisation on an even keel. 3LYON Capital, our Consumer & Corporate Finance arm has been a star – pulling in steady growth and enabling us to put in decent returns. In our High Growth Industries segment, our Electric bikes are getting high in demand and we expect this to continue. On this subject, I am pleased to inform you that we are in the last stages of negotiations with a new delivery company that will lease our bikes. Our Retirement Village project is progressing well and our 3LYON Prestige is in the midst of moving into the next phase of growth. Last but not least, I am excited to let you know that our 3LYON Wealth Advisors team is in discussion to bring in a few more exciting products so that we can have more options for our dear investors to benefit from.

I am also happy to update investors that final preparations are being made for the last dividend payout for the year, and as always, will be made as per our schedule – 30^th November. For those new to our organisation, we chose 30^th November as we feel that this timing to receive dividend is apt – for that Christmas shopping list, year-end breaks, preparation for the new year, reward ourselves for the hard work we have put in the year, or just, save. Whichever options we take, I am sure it will give each of us, the most satisfaction.

To all our stakeholders, on behalf of the group, I take this opportunity to say “Thank You” for the collaboration that you have extended. It is much appreciated. To our investors specifically, a big “Thank You” for your confidence in us, and your continued faith.
